Helping Selected Florida Specialty Contractors Find Opportunities and Build Stronger Customer Relationships

We work with a limited number of specialty contractors to expand their commercial-property business. We develop focused target markets, open relationships with owners and managers, identify relevant needs, and help advance qualified opportunities through the sales process.

Current areas of interest include energy benchmarking, commercial solar, battery storage, standby generation, water treatment, conservation, and related building-performance services.

Bardane is not a lead-list company or an anonymous appointment-setting service. Clients receive experienced, direct representation from Paul Johnson, supported by disciplined research, communication, and follow-through.

About Bardane

PJHeadshotReduced

Founder and Owner,

Paul Johnson

My career has centered on helping organizations grow and compete in markets where trust, technical requirements, service quality, and long-term customer relationships matter. That experience includes decades in fire protection and building services, leadership of recurring inspection and service operations, work with commercial-property owners and managers, and involvement with organizations such as BOMA, NAIOP, IFMA, and AAGO.

I founded Bardane in 2004 with a commitment to helping strengthen the competitiveness of the American workforce. I have long been interested in quality-management principles, practical performance standards, and clearly defined rubrics that help people understand what good work looks like, measure results fairly, and improve consistently. When expectations, responsibilities, and decision criteria are clear, capable people perform better and organizations become stronger.

That same practical philosophy shapes my interest in sustainability. I believe the most durable sustainability initiatives are grounded in common sense: improving the places where people live and work while reducing energy consumption, water use, operating risk, and total cost. Better environmental performance and better business performance should reinforce one another—not compete with one another.

Over time, I have also come to recognize a growing condition I call “The Big Squeeze”—the combined financial, technological, organizational, cultural, and personal pressures affecting businesses, workers, property owners, and families. Too often, good people are asked to make consequential decisions without sufficient clarity, reliable information, or a practical roadmap.

Bardane responds to that challenge by helping clients identify real needs, evaluate opportunities, establish clear expectations, and move worthwhile initiatives forward. Our work is informed by field experience, organizational leadership, quality-management discipline, and continuing study of business, sustainability, technology, faith, and teamwork.

Bardane is not limited to my individual expertise. When a situation requires specialized technical, financial, legal, or operational knowledge, I involve qualified professionals who can provide it. The objective is straightforward: bring the right people and information together, reduce unnecessary complexity, and help clients achieve better working and living conditions at a lower total cost.

Who We Help

Energy and Water Contractors

Bardane develops commercial-property relationships on behalf of a limited number of capable energy, water, resilience, and building-service contractors. If I contact your company, it may be because I see potential alignment between your technical capabilities, your growth objectives, and the needs of the owners and managers we serve.

I want to understand how you work, where you perform best, what distinguishes your company, and whether we can represent you with confidence. Bardane is interested in durable working relationships—not collecting providers or selling names. Contractors are encouraged to contact us directly if they believe their services complement our mission. Any relationship must protect your reputation, respect your economics, and create genuine value for the property owner.

Sustainability Industry Professionals

Bardane is developing relationships with qualified auditors, engineers, consultants, analysts, financing specialists, and other sustainability professionals whose expertise may be needed as commercial-property opportunities develop. If I contact you, it may be to learn more about your capabilities now or to discuss a specific situation in which your knowledge could materially improve the outcome.

We respect the boundaries of professional expertise and will never represent ourselves as qualified to perform work that properly belongs to you. Sustainability professionals are welcome to introduce themselves and describe the circumstances in which their services are most valuable. When we involve you, our goal will be to establish clear expectations, protect your professional interests, and help everyone reach a responsible, economically sound decision.

ESG & Mission‑Driven Building Owners

Bardane works to connect commercial-property owners and managers with carefully vetted contractors and sustainability professionals whose capabilities may help improve building performance, resilience, resource efficiency, occupant well-being, or total operating cost. If I contact you, it may be to introduce a provider whose services appear relevant to your property or organizational goals.

Every conversation begins with listening. I will never assume that a particular product or project is right for you simply because a partner offers it. Your needs, priorities, timing, and expected return must come first. You are always welcome to contact Bardane with a question, a concern, or a building-performance challenge—even if you are not yet sure what kind of solution you need.

Opportunity Discovery & Qualification

We speak with owners and managers to uncover real needs, understand decision processes, assess timing, and determine when a qualified provider should enter the conversation.

Sales Coordination & Follow-Through

We remain involved as needed—from the initial introduction through meetings, proposals, decisions, and follow-up—to help good opportunities keep moving and strong customer relationships endure.

How We Work

1. Meet and Understand

We begin with a genuine conversation—not a predetermined pitch. We seek common ground, learn what matters to everyone involved, and determine whether there is a real need or opportunity that Bardane is equipped to help address.

2.  Clarify & Plan

We define what is needed, what a successful result should look like, and what each party expects. Bardane then identifies a practical process for bringing together the right people, information, and actions to move the work forward.

3.  Agree Clearly

Before work begins, we establish clear responsibilities, communication practices, completion expectations, pricing, and terms. Everyone should understand what will happen, who will do it, what it will cost, and how progress and results will be evaluated.

4.  Follow Through

Bardane remains engaged to help commitments become results. We communicate, coordinate, resolve avoidable gaps, and follow through after completion to help ensure that the intended value is achieved and maintained.
